What are the Christchurch Antarctic Talks?

Together with our key partners NZ IceFest is delighted to present the Christchurch Antarctic Public Talks.  These informal lectures will allow you to get an insight into a raft of Antarctic topics.  From expeditions to science, heritage to wildlife, come along and expand your mind!  Held at Bentleys at the University of Canterbury campus on the last Wednesday of every month, gold coin donation.  Keep an eye on the NZ IceFest Facebook page for event details.

This talk investigates the physics of the problems faced by humans and other animals in surviving in the coldest, driest, windiest places on Earth,and the solutions they have to remedy these problems.
