Meet the dedicated team from NZ IceFest who make it all happen.

Chloë Dear

Chloë joined the Christchurch City Council in 2012 to manage the team involved in producing the Council’s events and as Director of NZ IceFest. Her role is to ‘refresh the existing and established events and develop an exciting series of one-offs for the City Centre during its current state of transition’. She is well-qualified for the challenge: having spent 18 years in Europe as an independent producer of circus, street theatre and outdoor events, Chloë has an internationally-acquired reputation for conceiving and co-ordinating creative events. Before Chloë became immersed in this quirky world, she worked in environmental education and community development, including in Nepal and Ethiopia.
